Hi, I am Karl Smith.

Based in Ocala, Florida, I am a photographer driven by a deep passion for exploring and preserving the beauty of the natural world. While my journey behind the lens has led me through many genres of photography, I am most inspired by the challenge and reward of capturing wildlife in its purest form.

My work focuses on those rare, fleeting moments when nature reveals its untamed spirit — from the serene grace of manatees drifting through crystal-clear springs to the quiet strength of bison wandering the open prairie. Each image is an invitation to pause, reflect, and connect with the wild places and creatures that often go unseen.
